How are “U Can” piano lessons different? 

At U Can we pride ourselves on creating holistic independent  musicians through a fun learning experience! 

We teach in a totally different way from traditional piano lessons. Come and observe one of our lessons!

 

Be it “The Beatles” or “Beethoven”! we can teach you to: play by ear; notate what they hear; transpose; move around the keyboard and play with confidence; read music; play chords; play songs and not just from the books!!

Class Location

 

South Belfast: Finaghy 

North Belfast: Antrim Road

 

Classes

Classes are bespoke for your needs and are therefore one to one. We offer different programmes from short 8 week courses to year long and beyond. Classes usually last between thirty and fifty minutes plus.  

At home, you will need a piano or piano keyboard for you to practice on.

 

Practice

This really helps!! But don't worry we can help you structure your practise and also recommend some inspiring books which can help you achieve your goals. Short intense practices are the best. See our booking page for options!

 

Tuition covers not only the actual lesson time spent with you, but time preparing for the lesson.

• An individualised plan for each student’s class of study

• Development of teaching materials,

• Training and experience

• Recital Preparation and repertoire planning

• Professional organization memberships

• Continuing education
